What Is The Alumni Program?

At North Georgia Recovery Center, we’re dedicated to long-term healing. That’s why we’ve created an alumni program for addiction treatment graduates who have completed their rehabilitation program. This program provides the services and resources you need to navigate life after treatment and forge a path to lasting recovery.

Think about this program as “the meeting after the meeting.” It exists to continue the recovery process beyond formal treatment sessions, so you never lose that feeling of support as you move further into a substance-free life.

Who Our Alumni Program Is For

Our alumni program is open to anyone who has completed a drug, alcohol, or co-occurring disorder treatment program with North Georgia Recovery Center. It’ll be helpful for you if:

  • You’re navigating the first weeks or months after treatment, which is often the most difficult stretch of recovery

  • You want a support system of peers who understand what you’re going through and can encourage your continued sobriety

  • You want to receive recurring check-ins from our alumni coordinator, with whom you can share your post-treatment wins and struggles

  • You’d like to join a lifelong community of partners in sobriety, attending occasional events and group sessions to stay plugged in

What’s Included In Our Alumni Program

Regular Check-Ins

After you graduate from our program, we’ll continue to check in with you periodically to see how you’re doing. Our alumni coordinator will offer continual support, helping you stay strong as you navigate recovery.

Monthly Group Sessions

Our outpatient group therapy sessions continue to strengthen your relationships with peers who are also entering the next phase of recovery. Meeting once per month, you’ll support each other after treatment.

Occasional Events

We host regular events to celebrate your progress and keep you connected to your recovery community. After you graduate, you’ll always have a family here at North Georgia Recovery Center.
