A Typical Day in Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
At North Georgia Recovery Center, our partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a full-day treatment involving therapies and group support designed to help you overcome addiction. PHP addiction treatment is less intense than other programs because it doesn’t require an overnight stay, serving as a step between a residential treatment program and outpatient aftercare.
The structure of your experience in our PHP will depend on your needs and goals. We create individualized treatment plans for each program participant, meaning the types of treatment you receive will vary and may be different from others in the program.
Is PHP Right For Your Addiction Treatment Journey?
Partial hospitalization is often the right fit at one of two points in a recovery journey: at the very beginning, when you need real structure but don’t require 24-hour supervision, or after residential treatment, when you’re ready for more independence but aren’t ready to go it alone.

Why Choose North Georgia Recovery Center’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
You may have tried a program before and felt like it wasn’t structured enough to help you build lasting change. Or maybe the opposite happened: a program felt too clinical, too restrictive, and didn’t leave room for the parts of your life that also need attention. PHP is built for that gap. It gives you guidance and accountability in recovery without requiring you to live at a facility or step away from the people who support you.
At North Georgia Recovery Center, our PHP stands out for a few reasons. In our facility, no two people follow the same treatment plan. We take your history, goals, and any co-occurring needs into consideration when planning your treatment path.
We offer a comprehensive continuum of care, meaning you can step down to a less intensive program if your needs change. We also plan aftercare for each person who completes our programs, so you never have to worry about feeling abandoned once the program is over.
