A Typical Day in Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) serves as the next step in the recovery process after completing PHP. In this phase of treatment, you’ll attend recurring outpatient sessions rather than stay at the facility for a full day of treatment.
Here, you’ll develop individual accountability, gain support from our clinical staff, and have a treatment plan built around your specific needs. During therapy sessions as part of the intensive outpatient program, our licensed therapists may work with you on topics such as:
- Addressing cravings
- Creating alternative coping mechanisms
- Dealing with stress
- Managing anger
- Identifying triggers
- Maintaining healthy relationships
